Introduction

The Lok Kawi Wildlife Park is managed by the Sabah Wildlife Department. Occupying an area of 280 acres it is one of the largest wildlife parks in Malaysia.

Itinerary

0900 depart from the city hotel and proceed for about 30 minutes drive to Lok Kawi Wildlife Park. As you arrive, get a map from the entrance counter and walk around on your own. Here, you will have the chance to see different species of birds and animals (e.g. Rhino, mouse deer, barking deer, civet, Binturong, pygmy elephants, clouded leopards, Malayan tigers, Orang Utans, Proboscis monkeys etc). Visit the Botanical Garden where you can see variety species of plants such as pitcher plants, wild ginger, ferns, medicinal plants, rubber trees etc. Around noon time, transfer back to the city hotel for free at leisure.
